Part of the game we are hoping to expand is the addition of Hunter into Hounds of Hell. This permits the Storytelling staff to run instance missions to keep the game from getting stale when major plot is bubbling. That and it's a lot of fun
At this time, We are allowing players to have only two characters. This may change in the future, but for now... One higher powered, either a Garou or a Hunter and one lower powered, a kinfolk. As Hunter in Hounds is an offshoot of the Garou game all Hunter characters must have the Kinfolk Merit though it is given at no cost and does not count towards the cap of seven Merits/Flaws.
The book we intend to use primarily (subject to change) is Laws of the Hunt: Players Guide by White Wolf Publishing. With the wealth of Hunter Resources between LotH Red, Blue and players guide it will get confusing. This topic is intended to try and shed some light on what is and is not considered during Character Creation.
Attribute Traits: 6/4/3 as per players guide. (Max 9 as per Kinfolk Merit)
Backgrounds: 5 (ST approval to buy after creation)
Abilities: 3 (Subject to good storytelling, may be awarded or purchased with RP)
Praxes: 5 Basic
Merits/Flaws: Limit 7ea. (Must use freebies. After creation merits at 2x value and with ST approval, Flaws may be awarded at no value)
Freebies: 5
Derangement(s) / Neg traits: You may take two derangement(s) for 2 points each at creation, after creation Derangement(s) may be awarded at no value. You may take a maximum of 5 (cumulative) across all three categories, points from negatives add to your freebies.
Watch this space. As we get more into hunter I am sure we will encounter many things which need clarification.
Willpower: 2 at creation, 10 maximum. (We're deviating from the book a little here but believe it is the right course. After creation buying up Willpower requires storyteller approval.)
